Devices and privacy

Little Miami School District is responsible for protecting and safeguarding the confidentiality of student information. The Board of Education recognizes the need to comply with state and federal requirements regarding the confidentiality, access to and amendment of student records.

G-Suite and Office 365 are governed by detailed privacy policy and security measures which Little Miami Schools has reviewed and has determined they appropriately protect the privacy of its users of these tools. Under our Terms of Service Agreement with Google and Microsoft, they are obligated to comply with FERPA regulations.

The district web filter can track information. Students should only visit sites that are appropriate and are not in violation of the Acceptable Use Policy. Violations of the policy can result in disciplinary action.
