October 3-7 is Safety Week!

Please be aware that there will be a large presence of first responders on our campuses next week, helping us celebrate Safety Week! During Safety Week, local first responders and other public safety professionals will visit our buildings to teach important safety tips, demonstrate their vehicles/equipment, and build relationships with our students and staff!

In addition to welcoming first responders into our buildings, administrators will also review safety information with staff and students throughout the week.

Schedule of Events:

Monday, October 3th:

  • Local police & fire visit LMECC for “Reading with Responders.”
  • Fire Department will demonstrate their equipment to LMECC students, showing what it may look like if the fire department responds to your home.
  • Warren County Emergency Management Agency visits LMPR to discuss emergency preparedness/severe weather safety tips.

Tuesday, October 4th:

  • Local police & fire visit LMECC for “Reading with Responders.”
  • Local fire department visits LMES for vehicle demonstration.
  • Warren County Emergency Management Agency visits LMPR to discuss emergency preparedness/severe weather.
  • Local Fire Department visits LMPR for vehicle demonstration.

Wednesday, October 5th:

  • Warren County SWAT Vehicle demonstration for 6th grade students at LMMS (7:30 AM-9:30 AM)
  • Warren County Emergency Management Agency visits LMECC to discuss how to call 9-1-1 and severe weather safety tips.
  • Local Fire Department visits LMPR for vehicle demonstration.
  • SRO Brandenburg conducts self-defense training for LMHS students during Study Hall.

Thursday, October 6th:

  • Warren County Emergency Management Agency visits LMECC to discuss how to call 9-1-1 and severe weather.
  • Local Fire Department visits LMPR for vehicle demonstration.

Friday, October 7th:

  • Local police & fire visit LMECC for “Reading with Responders.”
  • Fire Department will demonstrate their equipment to LMECC students, showing what it may look like if the fire department responds to your home.
