September 2023 Panther Pride Award Recipients

Our first Panther Pride Award recipients for this school year were recognized at last evening’s Board Meeting.

Congratulations to our September Panther Pride Award Recipients, Nick DeSanctis and Ella Sakaras. These two individuals exemplify what it means to put others first. They're perfect examples of what it means to be a panther.
Nick is the WCCC Digital Media Arts Program teacher at the high school. DMA continues to produce top-quality productions, including The Panther Show, sporting event highlights, student-led activities at school and a new podcast called The WoodHenge.
He and his students are everywhere! Nick spends countless hours outside the classroom as he continues to impact the education and training of his students.
Ella is a junior at the high school and is being recognized for all her work as a student aid in the Structured Resource Room.
She is a trusted friend to students in our special education program and spends time with them during, before and after school, providing a positive and inclusive environment.
