5th grader finalist in NASA essay contest
Posted on: June 11, 2021
Congratulations to Little Miami rising 5th grader Jackson Holcomb, who was named a national finalist in an essay contest sponsored by NASA.
NASA Glenn Research Center recently invited students in grades 4–12 to write essays explaining how NASA exploration and discoveries inspired them and their career goals or changed the way we may live and work in the future.
Holcomb entered and learned he was one of 75 national finalists (one of 25 in grades 4/5).
This past school year, he was a VLA student in Steve Goodstein’s 4th grade class.
