Dance troupe gets Butlerville moving
Posted on: March 4, 2018
Students and teachers from Harlan-Butlerville Primary School got to break out their best dance moves when the Bi-Okoto African Dance Company visited the school recently.
The Bi-Okoto Company brought songs, stories, drumming and dances from many countries on the African continent. Their vision is a world where individuals, families, and communities take pride in their cultural heritage while appreciating the cultural expression of others.
The company's visit was sponsored by the Harlan-Butlerville PTO. (Thank you to the PTO and to Mrs. Duffy for the photo and video!)
