Important Message Regarding Bus Safety
We wanted to our learning community to be aware of parent/adult behavior that has recently escalated to a point of being unsafe. Since school dismissal on Friday afternoon, Little Miami Transportation has had two separate instances where a parent/adult has approached or entered the school bus while students were present to address the bus driver with concerns.
All Little Miami Bus Stops and Buses are considered “school property,” and these concerning behaviors, especially while children are present, are not appropriate. Behavior such as this causes safety concerns with students boarding and exiting the buses. Our School Resource Officer has engaged both adults involved in these circumstances.
Please let this communication serve as a reminder that if you have concerns or questions regarding your student’s experience on a Little Miami school bus to call the Little Miami Transportation Office at: 513-899-2941. Little Miami Transportation will work in coordination with the appropriate school building administration to address any school bus behavior concerns.
