Important Safety Update Regarding LMMS 12/9

important little miami update

After student dismissal on Friday, December 9th, a threat indicating that violence will occur on Monday, December 12th was discovered on the wall of the Girls Bathroom at Little Miami Middle School. Little Miami and Hamilton Township Police Department are currently investigating this incident.

Little Miami takes all threats seriously and will have an increased law enforcement presence at LMMS on Monday, December 12th as a result. Updates regarding this incident will be sent to families as they become available.

We encourage you to speak to your students and help them understand that these behaviors will not be tolerated. We will continue working in cooperation with HTPD and the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, if determined necessary, to ensure that whoever wrote this threat is held accountable.

We ask our Panther families and community for their help, as we all have a role to play in safety. If you see or hear concerning comments or behavior, please act. Notify local law enforcement, building administration or counselors as necessary.
