Little Miami Schools is proud to announce that Lindsey Eckstein has been selected as the new Principal of the Little Miami Early Childhood Center (ECC). With nearly 20 years of experience in education, including leadership roles within the district, Eckstein brings a deep understanding of instructional excellence, staff development and student success.

Eckstein has served as Assistant Principal at Little Miami Local Schools since 2019, where she has played a key role in improving school performance, supporting a positive school culture and enhancing teacher effectiveness. Prior to her administrative role, she worked as an instructional literacy and math coach, a classroom teacher, and a teacher trainer, demonstrating her strong commitment to curriculum development and student achievement.

"Becoming the next principal at LMECC is a tremendous honor and responsibility. The opportunity to continue serving our students, families, and the LMECC team is both humbling and exciting,” said Eckstein.

Eckstein holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from The Ohio State University, where she also earned her Bachelor’s in Human Development, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her expertise in instructional coaching, data-driven decision-making, and relationship-building will continue to benefit students, teachers, and families at the ECC.

“I look forward to building upon the progress we've made in our first four years by focusing on student growth and achievement, strengthening school-to-home connections, fostering greater collaboration, and increasing inclusivity across our school community,” said Eckstein.

Eckstein is married to LMMS teacher Craig Eckstein, together they have two sons (15 and 11).  Eckstein also attended LM for grades 1-8 as a child.

Eckstein will officially begin her role as ECC Principal on July 14th, 2025.
