LMHS Theatre presents 'The Little Mermaid'
Join Little Miami High School Theatre for a colorful adventure under the sea as they present “The Little Mermaid” April 11-14.
Rebellious teenage mermaid Ariel is fascinated with life on land. On one of her visits to the surface, which are forbidden by her controlling father, King Triton, she falls for a human prince. Determined to be with her new love, Ariel makes a dangerous deal with the sea witch Ursula to become human for three days. But when plans go awry for the star-crossed lovers, the king must make the ultimate sacrifice for his daughter.
Directors Tara and Ken Lydy, along with a cast of dancing sea gulls and mermaid princesses, will bring this movie favorite to life in the LMHS auditorium. High school theatre veterans (and seniors) Erica Kerman and Ryan Lombardo return to the stage as Ariel and Prince Eric, respectively. Eli Lanham, who played the Cowardly Lion in 2017’s production of “The Wizard of Oz” plays King Triton and senior Ruth Kennedy plays Ursula.
