Preschool Information
The Preschool Program at Little Miami is a Step Up to Quality 5 Star-rated program that provides specialized instruction to children ages 3-5. We currently have five inclusive classrooms with a maximum of 16 students in each class. We operate on an 8:8 model that includes 8 tuition paying students and up to 8 students with disabilities. Each classroom has one early childhood intervention specialist and one classroom aide at all times.
Our preschool program is very structured, and we use a multi-sensory approach to make learning fun! We utilize the Frog Street Pre-K curriculum to meet Ohio Early Learning Standards in addition to Learning Without Tears to teach letter building and handwriting. Our program also focuses heavily on the social-emotional development of all students: sharing, turn taking, and how to play with friends.
Preschool students attend school Tuesday through Friday in the morning or afternoon session, which is dependent on district attendance boundaries.
Monthly tuition for the 2024-2025 school year will be $350 per month and due the first of each month. There is an annual registration fee of $75 that is collected in August before school starts each year.
Snacks are provided to the students each day, and a snack menu will be made available before school starts.
PLEASE NOTE: Preschool will operate on modified hours in the event of a 90-minute delay.
See the list of School Hours for regular school hour information.
