Groundbreaking March 24 to launch HS/JH projects
Little Miami will kick off its next set of construction projects with a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, March 24 at 11:30 a.m. at Little Miami High School.
The event will launch additions and renovations to both the high school and junior high school, including 42,500 square feet of additions to LMHS and a 600-seat academic wing addition to the junior high.
These projects, made possible by the passage of a $64.6 million bond issue in May 2018, are part of the first phase of Little Miami’s master plan that will bring a new building and additional classroom space to the district, and will address projected enrollment growth for the next 10 years.
The first project, an addition to Little Miami Intermediate School, broke ground on Oct. 2, 2019 and is expected to be completed by the end of July.
The groundbreaking event at the high school will take place behind the school near the tennis courts. The public is invited.
