Mike Malone to Become Executive Director of Human Resources

MAINEVILLE, OH – Little Miami Schools is pleased to announce the hiring of Mike Malone as the district’s new Executive Director of Human Resources. Malone brings over 17 years of administrative experience in education and personnel management, making him a valuable addition to the district leadership team.
Malone joins Little Miami from the Talawanda School District, where he served as Director of Human Resources since 2022. In this role, he led recruitment and hiring efforts, managed employee relations, oversaw compliance with labor laws, and developed key district policies. His background also includes extensive experience as a principal, assistant principal, and teacher, providing him with a deep understanding of school operations and the needs of both staff and students.

Malone holds Ohio licensure as a superintendent, principal, and K-8 teacher. He earned a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati, a Master’s in Classroom Teaching from the University of Rio Grande, and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Miami University.
In his new role, Malone will oversee all aspects of human resources, recruitment, staff development, benefits, Licensure, Tuition reimbursement, policy implementation, and labor relations for the district.

Malone officially begins his role at Little Miami Schools on August 1st, 2025.
