Test driving careers with internship
Posted on: March 2, 2020
LMHS students Matt Neal, Andrew Russell and Edgar Garcia (l to r) pose with Hamilton Twp. Police Chief Scott Hughes.
Three Little Miami High School students got to “test drive” a career in law enforcement recently, thanks to the high school’s internship program.
Little Miami seniors Matt Neal, Andrew Russell and Edgar Garcia have had the opportunity to spend their third quarter interning with the Hamilton Township Police Department. The three had the opportunity to do ride-alongs with officers, tour the crime lab, and spend time learning the daily routine of being a police officer.
Township Police Chief Scott Hughes has been a supporter of the Little Miami Senior Internship program, hosting students for the past two school years.
