Bus Accident - February 3
Posted on: February 3, 2021
This morning, February 3, Little Miami school Bus 64, transporting a total of eight Butlerville and Salem Elementary students to school, was involved in an accident on State Route 123 (Blackhawk Hill). Thankfully, there are no injuries to any of the students on board or the bus driver. Students were transported safely to school by another bus, where they were evaluated by the school nurse, counselor, and building principal. All parents were notified if their child was involved in the accident prior to district communication being made. If you did not receive communication about your student, they were not on board the bus involved.
Law enforcement is investigating the cause of this accident, but it does not appear that the Little Miami bus driver was at fault. We are grateful to our local first responders and LM bus drivers for helping keep our students safe and are so thankful to report there were no injuries involved.
