Master plan update meeting Aug. 30
Posted on: August 27, 2017
After opening the year with another record high student enrollment, the plan to manage Little Miami's growth is more important that ever.
The district will host a facility master plan update meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The public is invited.
The meeting will be led by Christie Boron of Emersion Design, who will recap the last twelve months of the planning process. She will also discuss projects proposed as part of the November bond issue, which include:
- A new 800-student primary school to be built behind the existing Salem Twp. Elementary
- A 42,500 sq. ft. addition made to Little Miami High School
- A 600-seat addition to Little Miami Junior High School
- A 250-seat addition to Little Miami Intermediate School
- Minor renovations to Salem Twp. Elementary to enable the building to be kept online
- Harlan-Butlerville and Hamilton-Maineville to be kept online for the foreseeable future
