Next Superintendent Announced - Congratulations Regina Morgan
The Little Miami Board of Education is thrilled and so very proud to announce Mrs. Regina Morgan as the next Superintendent of Little Miami Local Schools – and first female Superintendent in LM history! After careful consideration of staff, student, parent, and community feedback, as well as evaluation of criteria needed to fill this role, it is clear that Mrs. Morgan exemplifies the necessary qualities of the next leader of our growing district.
Mrs. Morgan earned her Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University, her Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and her Superintendent’s Certificate from Xavier University. After transitioning from a successful twelve-year career in IT training and consulting, Mrs. Morgan came to Little Miami High School as a Satellite Business Teacher with the Warren County Career Center in 2000. Following her time in the classroom, Mrs. Morgan served as Assistant Principal at Little Miami High School, Assistant Principal at Hamilton-Maineville Elementary, and Principal of Hamilton-Maineville Elementary before moving to Central Office as the Curriculum Director and Assistant Superintendent.
Mrs. Morgan not only has a strong background in the classroom, making her well-tuned in to the needs of teachers and staff, but she also has exemplary experience as a building and district leader, qualified to continue leading our district forward with skill and understanding. Mrs. Morgan’s years in the private sector also equip her with a sharp business acumen and the skills needed to make Little Miami a more effective and competitive district.
Mrs. Morgan lives in Lebanon, Ohio with her husband of 34 years, and is the proud mother of two sons and grandmother of four. Mrs. Morgan shares, “I am honored and excited to serve as the next Superintendent of Little Miami Local Schools. I have the utmost respect for the Little Miami community and look forward to working collaboratively with staff, students, and stakeholders to ensure the best possible learning environment for each student.”
The Little Miami Board of Education says, “We believe that Mrs. Morgan has a deep understanding of Little Miami’s history, as well as a clear vision for how she plans to guide Little Miami Schools into the future. We are confident that Mrs. Morgan will lead with compassion and education expertise, while anchoring our growing district in positivity that makes the learning environment a welcoming place for all students and staff.”
